Yeh ranchers are rich. That’s the ticket. They put our food on the table. I like steak and burgers. I don’t want to eat soylent green. Ranching is some of the hardest work in the world.
The reason they moved their stock onto this closed lease and aren't paying the fees is to co-ordinate with the recent legislation.
The feds were supposed to turn over the land in Utah last Jan 1st but didn't, so now the other states are moving to pass their own legislation.
Its really just one piece of legislation since they were all written by ALEC. They all want it free.
