Faux News will not coverthe story. So far it’s heresay. But it will be the lead story on CNN and PMSNBC for the next six months. All republican candidates for the White House will be asked did they know Dennis Hassert and how “well” they knew him.

Because she spoke out before, to ABC, and it went nowhere. I for one believe her. I think Hastert has a past many people on our side don’t want to see here. But it sure doesn’t look good. And Hastert’s silence to me speaks volumes. Hastert comes from a town quite close to where I live. His relatives own a very popular restaurant here in IL that I have gone to many times.
People have secrets. Amazing how these things from one’s past can come back much later to bite you. See Josh Duggar and Duggar family for an example, although the Duggar’s dealt with their internal family problem, whereas Dennis Hastert, it appears, did not deal with his. Of course his career would have been ruined if he did so (see also Duggar family), so he kept very, very quiet. Turns out that for him, it worked out, and if may now cost him some bucks and a tarnished reputation, but he already had his career, didn’t he. Of course the hypocrisy of the left is continually amazing, as they all celebrate their newest female idol, Caitlyn Jenner.
