Looks more like the IRS is flipping the middle finger at Congress.
a lot worse than stonewalling, I suspect. a complete lack of regard for legislative branch and full allegiance to the executive.
something one would have only seen once upon a time when a dictator was consolidating power and colluding agencies knew they had nothing to fear.
Off topic, but what about Al Sharpton and his documented several.million dollar tax bill?? Why is the IRS not going after him? Why is Sharpton apparently facing no legal sanctions over his unpaid taxes???
Congress deserves it. They have the power of life and death over the IRS. They can zero out their budget. They can destroy the IRS but won’t lift a finger.
So how else do they expect the IRS to treat them.
Its like that German soldier in Saving Private Ryan, passing that coward on the stairs. He barely gives him a glance.
I am with the IRS on this one. Since there is no reason to believe the GOP is serious about doing anything to stop them, the form letter is what they deserve.
The slave has become the master. Anyone surprised?
lol Oh good grief. Not even the balls to sign it.
They all belong in JAIL!!!

“We’d expect officials at the IRS, who also work for and are paid by the U.S. taxpayer, to take the same care and effort in crafting a response to our inquiry,” she said. “The allegations swirling around the Clinton Foundation are very serious and raise issues of great public importance.”
This is just bloviation. Here they talk all big and with
authority. Spineless cowards that took impeachment off the table
because they were afraid of being called racist by racist.
Honestly, they deserved the pimp slap.
“...the perfunctory response is far below the level of customer service members of Congress should be getting.”
It’s far below the level of service any TAXPAYER should get!
As for Congress - you decide...
CUT THE M-F FUNDING TO ZERO TOMORROW.
See how fast the bureau-effers hop.
The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
What will Marsha Blackburn do about it?
If it was a letter demanding that the Tea Party be investigated, it would have been acted on immediately. But what the hell, this is exactly what a majority voted for two times in succession. So the public is getting what they demanded.
There is only one party in Washington DC - the government party
Its made up of government, its interests, those who help it grow, its dependents and its cronies and supporters. Everyone else is on the outside.
The bureaucrats are taking their cue from the arrogant dictator at the time -
“Congress, you are superfluous now, we have all the authority under law to run the government, and everyone’s healthcare to boot, without you from now on, because you abdicated that authority to us in the laws that established our agencies and gave them their missions, and whether you ever meet in session again or not our authority will continue anyway, so YOU can just stuff it.”
That response is more than a form letter, it’s a form alright, but a form of flipping the wee birdie to Congress. I’d be a tad uptight, and perhaps in a retaliatory mood personally. Congress needs to act accordingly.
If we had representation with some hair the IRS would be quaking in their knee highs.
Dear Congress,You are my bitch.Love,The IRS
