Radical Hindu nationalists closely aligned to the Indian government warned Christians in Punjab state late last year to prepare to convert to Hinduism “or get ready to die,” according to a complaint before a U.S. federal court.
A lawsuit filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York calls on the U.S. government to designate as a foreign terrorist organization (FTO) a radical Hindu organization with close ties to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his ruling party.
Late last week attorneys filed an amended complaint in a case brought by an advocacy group called Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) against Secretary of State John Kerry.
The amended document adds three additional plaintiffs, two Christians and a Muslim, who claim to be victims of a forced conversion campaign carried out by the Hindu group RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, or National Volunteer Corps).
The three say that threats by RSS radicals determined to forcibly convert minorities to Hinduism have increased since Modi and his Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won India’s general election last year.

Sounds like someone is trying to use the US Courts to play in Indian politics.
Focus people - Hindus do not seek to convert the globe through war and threat of death. Hindus do not fly planes into buildings. Hindus do not bomb or shoot newspapers when they draw pictures of their gods. There is nothing in Hindu religious texts telling them to kill Jews, kill infidels, or to rape and enslave their women and children.
Funny the Hindus are going after the Christians, seeing as Indian Punjab is mostly Sikh.

Sure, but we don’t care what happens to muzzies. The number of Christians in the suit mentioned is one; there are two moslems; the Sikh religion is a bit of an oddball among moslems. Sikh guards protected Indian presidents up until Indira Gandhi, who was assassinated by one or more of hers.
RSS is a national organization. What's funny is that the complaint before Federal court requesting that RSS be designated a terror organization is pointing to Punjab as a case in point. You'd think other Indian states with bigger Hindu (non-untouchable) majorities would provide better examples of persecution. As it is, 60% are Sikhs, who don't care for RSS, and 30% are untouchables who aren't particularly thrilled about being on the bottom rung of the Hindu caste system, and therefore susceptible to evangelization and Christian aid missions.
Radical Hindus are a small minority.
Whereas the most conservative estimates of the number of radical Muslims is at least 20%. And if you guessed the majority you might not be wrong.
Just a gentle reminder that there’s only one way to God, and it’s not Hinduism.
