McCain has a hissy fit if his oatmeal is not stirred correctly.

Jimbo, we are watching the call-ins on CSPAN2. They have independent lines for R,D & I.
NO ONE of any stripe is for the continuation of the Patriot Act. Everyone supports what Paul has done.

From the article:

McConnell’s announcement came after several tense exchanges on the floor with Paul, including a testy back-and-forth with Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., who repeatedly accused Paul of not knowing Senate rules for when he is allowed to speak. At one point, McCain even objected to letting Paul talk for five minutes, before relenting.

“He would be the worst candidate we could put forward,” the GOP’s 2008 nominee later told reporters about Paul’s presidential aspirations”

I have to say, that is one fantastic endorsement for junior. Congratulations.

Anything that annoys Cornyn is good by me. That SOB likes to let his voice mail fill up if an issue is at all controversial.

That's why I voted for Cruz in the first place, to get up Cornyn's nose.

Thank you, Senator Paul. Even if only symbolic, your efforts in this area are greatly appreciated.

“It does eliminate one of the tools that the intelligence community has to identify homegrown terrorists, and it just seems to me to be reckless to not at least allow a temporary continuation,” Cornyn said.

Which homegrown terrorists would those be, John?

I hope John Cornyn’s staff monitors this site.

I will never cast another vote for John Cornyn.

With all the tracking and spying the fedgov is doing,
they can’t even stop the telemarketers from violating fedlaw,
so why should I think they could stop a terrorist?
Dumb-asses; the whole lot of them.

Did ANYONE think for a MOMENT that this would not pass?

Let us rewind: Remember when Snowden revealed this stuff?

Lots of Freepers called us out to engage our Senators and Congressmen to remove this outrage.

I smiled to myself: How naive. Just because it was revealed, IN NO WAY MEANT they would stop.

And they didn't. And they won't. We are a fascist police state, and I'm not sure we ever were anything but.
