President Obama pressured the Senate on Saturday to immediately authorize the USA Freedom Act.

“Today, I’m calling on Americans to join me in speaking with one voice to the Senate,” Obama said in his weekly address.

“Put the politics aside,” he said. “Put our national security first. Pass the USA Freedom Act — now.”

If Obama, the undocumented Moslem, wants the Act,

I am a little foggy on what the USA freedom act is, but with this administration,I would say that it is to freedom what the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms is to liquor, guns and cigarettes.

Thanks to the prescience of George Orwell and his various modern political-class adherents, (Hillary, et al...) we know to be very wary of anything proposed by politicians that sounds like it’s being done in the best interests of all Americans.

It’s classic 1984 newspeak.

Freedom is slavery, therefore freedom is Bad.

Slavery is freedom, therefore Slavery is Good.

Join us in passing this Act.

“As president and commander in chief, my greatest responsibility is the safety of the American people,” Obama said.

“And in our fight against terrorists, we need to use every effective tool at our disposal – both to defend our security and to protect the freedoms and civil liberties enshrined in our Constitution.”

Obama also argued that extremists could exploit even the smallest gaps in the nation’s intelligence capabilities.

“Terrorists like al Qaeda and ISIL aren’t suddenly going to stop plotting against us at midnight tomorrow,” Obama said. “And we shouldn’t surrender the tools that help keep us safe.”

Obama concerned about the safety and national security of the united states???

Bwahahahaha!!! I CANT BREATHE! I CANT BREATHE!!!

“Put the politics aside,” he [Obama] said. “Put our national security first ....”

**************************************

The Obama Lecture Series continues ..... he does not practice what he preaches, in fact he doubles down on doing the exact opposite.

Is this another one of those “You can’t read it until you pass it” things?

It always scares me when a politician says that “We need to hurry and pass this bill.” That always means there’s something (or several somethings) really bad in it that would be obvious if the time was taken to discuss and debate it.

Perfect evidence to be used when/if he is ever prosecuted for treason against this country. (Note the words “when/if ever”)

Remember what our muslim friends have been saying:

“True freedom is slavery to Allah.”

I’m pretty sure this bill has been around for a couple of years, waiting to be passed. The House passed it pretty convincingly, and Ted Cruz is a Senate co-sponsor.

He's been unbearable lately. Who the heck does he think he is?

He's the school yard bully who grew up to be a community leader who understands the rules of the street. When you have power, you never show any sign of compromise or weakness. You make your opponent appear weak and useless by piling it on.

Obama thinks he's unstoppable because the people we elected to DO SOMETHING were brought up by a different set of rules where you compromise to gain a seat as the table. He's going to keep pushing until as a unified front some entity pushes back until Obama loses all respect. The US Senate Republican majority was elected to do that. They aren't. Even Cruz, giving Obama a slim majority on the trade bill doesn't seem to understand the rules of thug leadership.

So they have hit a roadblock on the Patriot Act reauthorization and now have regrouped, rearmed and renamed it to USA FREEDOM?

It wouldn’t surprise me if it not only continues the eavesdropping and data collection on the government side but will also transfer that luxury down to local and state LE level.

Who knows? One day it might end up with everybody having an RFID tag, imbedded GPS and a wifi connection in their body.

With every “act” we have less freedom. We had freedom before all this “acting”. Now are serfs on the federal plantation. This is no more about freedom than the “Patriot” Act was about patriotism.

It’s the renewal of the Patriot Act and all of its onerous internal spying provisions.
