ST. LOUIS (CBS St. Louis/AP) — A photo of St. Louis Cardinals mascot Fredbird holding a “police lives matter” sign was posted to a police association Facebook page before the team asked that it be taken down. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports sports website Deadspin took aim at the mascot last week after the photo was posted to the St. Louis Police Officers Association Facebook page. Deadspin titled the post: “Your Racist Uncle Will Love This Picture Of The Cardinals’ Mascot.”
So siding with law enforcement is bad for business?
I read someplace that some evil “republicans” tricked the mascot into holding the sign. I guess #policelivesmatter doesn’t matter but #blacklivesmatter does matter. Or something. Would it have been okay for someone to trick the mascot into holding the #blacklivematter poster? Would the Cards have been okay with that?
So it’s now “racist” to say that “police lives matter”?
Probably afraid of riots. A lot of black fans. Be interesting to see if the sports fans supported the police. Too bad they made them take it down.
Because the left doesn’t give a sh!t about police lives, or White lives. Or Black lives when a Black is doing the killing.
I wish these professional sports teams would realize how unbecoming it is for them to bow to political correctness.
Not only is it not necessary, but they make the problem worse.

When anyone says anything contrary to liberal thinking or turns the tables on them, their first tactic is to silence the message/messenger. When that tactic fails, the next step is an all out attempt to completely destroy that opposing voice by every means possible.
