A pink color akin to that of chewed Big Red gum is actually more difficult to see at night than black but the services had a hard time getting pilots to accept the color and it doesn’t lend as well to recruiting commercials, so they went with black....

Well, fleets of “missile” drones flying in formation in battle groups would effectively blanket an area.
This is targeting first world tech, not cavemen muzzies.

Gen X grew up during the duck and cover period? I dont think so. I'm genX and we did duck and cover "nuke" drills up to about 1979/80 when I was in the 8th grade. Most people agree that 64/65 onward is GenX.
After that it was "tornado drills" but it was the same procedure. We also were subjected to the media drum beat that Reagan was going to either start or provoke a nuclear war all the way until I was out of High School.

Then you actually have to attack a target that has modern electronics. I’m not sure Yemen qualifies.

So we weren't in a nuclear face off until the Gen Xers came along? Where did the author suggest that?

All countries have military targets against which this weapon would be effective.

And what do these microwaves do to the people in those facilities? At the very least I expect they would be permanently blinded. Anyone with a HAM license knows that the eyes cook first.

I quoted him in the post that you are responding to.
You don’t think that is an odd statement that gives an impression? Especially since it ties in with some of the media’s saying the same thing in the last decades?

Gen X grew up during the duck and cover period? I dont think so. They stopped teaching that in the 70s if not sooner.I'm Gen X, born in 1969. I don't remember doing any of those drills in school. Of course, Nampa, Idaho wasn't a likely nuclear target at the time, though Mountain Home AFB about 70 miles SSE of us may have been.

I am confused by your post. Are you saying you would be more comfortable if our enemies like China and Russia have LO capable platforms and we don't? That we should avoid having weapons that 'look' like they belong to the bad guys?
Are you saying that is it only the weapons ‘look’ that makes you uncomfortable? (In that case, what are your thoughts regarding “assault weapons.” weapons that look bad but are not.

True.
