Ohio has become a bellwether state in presidential elections and, seeming to recognize that fact, the GOP has decided it’s the best place to anoint its 2016 nominee.
Cleveland is no Republican stronghold, however. The city was formerly represented in Congress in part by progressive Democrat Dennis Kucinich and has strong ties to organized labor.
The current mayor, Frank G. Jackson, is also a Democrat. That said, Jackson is credited by the county’s Republican Party chair with spearheading the effort to bring the convention to Cleveland. Whomever they’re nominating, conventions bring revenue, after all.
Republicans must be hoping to mine the Rust Belt for votes. Surely with this choice of venue, jobs will top the party’s talking points memo. According to the Cleveland Plain Dealer, RNC Chairman Reince Priebus told Fox News, “We’re excited about bringing the convention to Cleveland in Ohio, and we’re excited about the decision. We think it’s a smart decision.”

Scenes from a nightmare. Seeing the Postal truck reminded me of the first week I carried mail. I was in a bad Black neighborhood in Forrest City Arkansas, when a dude who was obviously on drugs approached me and demanded his check, which I did not have. He pulled a gun, but thank God another man nearby talked him down. Someone called the police and I heard he was arrested a few minutes later. He was on parole, so he went back to prison and I didn’t have to testify.

Real simple solution:
Tell the federal fascists that they are considered persona non grata in the state. The state will provide no assistance to the federal pigs, and if any federal terrorist violates any state law they will be arrested and thrown in jail.

States have no rights. Yes, the Constitution says they have rights. States Rights lost the war in 1865.

South Carolina has a dozen of Holder’s black thugs locked up in state prison, serving 10 to 30 years. The money hasn’t stopped.

Okay Freeps this is madness--too much East side mentality in the cops--I don't really care if these two wastes of oxygen were DRT but it took way too may resources and a guaranteed lawsuit to get there. 100 hundreds cops sports fans--that's just bad management--yeah I know it's Cleveland. The GOP made a serious pander facepalm to put the Convention in that pit. But there is no justification for 100 friggin' cops chasing a couple of crackhead Obama voters.
