So called "Black Culture" is a false construct that didn't exist prior to the civil rights era. The democrats needed it to create a point of division.

Men like George Washington Carver and his contemporaries didn't seek a separate culture. They sought to be part of American culture. They dressed as other Americans did, they didn't make up fake African names, they didn't create a fake language. They just wanted to be typical Americans.

In that photo is a very dignified and proud group of American men. Real Americans.

Officials from the Jackson County Republican Party, circa 1890, I assume?

So called “Black Culture” is effectively an oxymoron. There is no black culture. If left to their own devices blacks have demonstrated a proclivity to devolve to their savage roots.

I recall that picture from my school days and ho they extolled its virtues. It wasn’t so much a lie as it was a proposition of planting seeds in sterile ground. It didn’t take and in its place a much cruder, much more cynical world view developed.

The funny (not funny haha) thing is that the left now owns the culture - the very culture that the blacks are exploiting and crapping on. The left has built an open sewer and a significant portion of the population - including most blacks - are happy to swim in it.

For all the alienation that blacks complain about they aren’t as alienated from the America I grew up in as I am.

It’s really peculiar that people who came up with Negro Spirituals that come from Christian roots refuse to have Christian names.

I think that’s a bit of an exaggeration. There’s always been things that were black culture: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shout_band There’s always been a sub-culture (even in clothing): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zoot_suit
