Some 1250 years later through today, some lying islamist would claim some other muslim wrote those.

Of course they do. Also Adam, Noah, Solomon and Jesus.
Mohammed, to their minds, did not invent or originate Islam. He was simply the last and greatest in a long line of prophets.

I guess some folks think they’re pretty important. Just not the American Left.

I’ve seriously run across people that believe that too. I have to explain that Moses was Hebrew and was given an Egyptian name, as he was found in a basket by the Pharaoh’s daughter (you know the rest of the story). Many people don’t even know that.

That’s why muslims are particularly incensed at Bahais for glomming on and refining their schtick.

Abraham is Ishmael's father and the Arabs trace their lineage back to him, as well as the Hebrews
Remember ... there are two children of Abraham ... one of Promise and one of a handmaid, legitimate ONLY in that Abraham had permission (in the beginning) from his wife, Sarah, and God DID bless Ishmael (in a way)

That seems a “legitimate” claim for Arabs, but in no way for islam, invented before its invention.

I LOVE the Dead Sea Scrolls!
I could stay in the Shrine of the Book all day just gazing upon them. The Isaiah Scroll alone is the most precious thing I have ever laid eyes on.
Do we have a Dead Sea Scrolls ping list on FR, by any chance?
