Chris Christie: 'Imagine if it were me who deleted my emails?'

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie slammed the media Thursday for giving Hillary Clinton leeway in her State Department email scandal, compared to how much scrutiny he faced over "Bridgegate."

"Has there been coverage of the email situation with the secretary, absolutely. But the intensity of the coverage, and the relentlessness of the coverage is different. And that's where the bias is revealed," Christie said on CNBC Thursday, calling the reporting of his involvement in the scandal, in which he has not been directly implicated, a "rush to judgment."

He is what he is - and being from NJ, I do like his no holds barred, in your face, tell it like it is demeanor - even if it'll never translate well Nationally. I know I've ticked off my share of overly sensitive people across the country that don't get the east coast humor.

Be as it may, it would be great to see him be the attack dog and rip Hildebeast.

And let's no denigrate the man with fat jokes.... I'm sure some of you have a pint of Ben & Jerry's right next to your keyboard. heh.....

Yeah, but he still has his uses. He may very well be willing to say what no one else is. Imagine if McCain had called Obama “Hussein” during the first go round?

Uses, maybe.
But he can never be allowed near the Office of President of the United States.

I seriously doubt he will ever make it to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. But, like others say - he has his place.

Whether it's Christie bashing Hitlery about the coddling press she gets on real scandals or Carly bashing her about her fake 'war on women/victimology crapola ...

IT'S ALL GOOD! (imho)

It doesn't mean they should be president but they are landing some very good blows on SWMNBN. Which helps Cruz too.

The double standard. democrats are allowed to get away with crimes, and normal people are accused of things that are not a crime.

I don’t know why Reince Priebus doesn’t ask all the potential GOP nominees to inject a Hillary Clinton scandal (There are so many to pick from) every time the media asks them a stupid gotcha question...

Excellent strategy, that's why they don't do it :(

[Imagine if it were me who deleted my emails?’]

Well, no emails have been discovered yet about Bridge Gate so I’ll hold back a tear for Cristie’s pity party for awhile.

I agree. The GOP has a good field, and even the outliers are scoring some excellent points. I wish the hyper-partisans on FR would just relax and appreciate these early efforts by a good and varied group of candidates taking on the libs. The time for hyper-partisanship is when we’re running against the Democrat!

Christie is a blowhard AND a cry-baby! Mostly, he is a RINO.

He ought to go join the Democratic Party as far as I am concerned (and take a lot of others with him)!

I am no fan of Christy, but I am glad he made this statement. However, the liberal media I’ve seen just says he went into an expletive filled rant. His comments won’t gain any traction among the brainwashed.

Unfortunately, Chris Cristie does not get it. Hillary Clinton did not delete her emails. She deleted our emails. The emails were the property of the Department of State and the American people own the Department of State.

Christie has added a 3D printer to his computer so he can download his emails and EAT them.
