For anyone interested in the other side of the story:

http://www.agingrebel.com/12873

I’m not saying it’s the true story, but it is a story...plus the forums are very interesting.

It’s a clean site...no porn, malware, etc.

And no, humblegunner, I ain’t promoting a blog...mine or anybody else’s.

Multiple sources have told The Aging Rebel that all of the dead were killed by police.

At that link you provided.

When one of the combatants produced a gun the Swat team opened fire with automatic weapons. Multiple sources have told The Aging Rebel that all of the dead were killed by police.

I went out on a limb and claimed to smell a rat back in more than 1 thread- I am, sticking by my hunch. LEO blasted people into hell under their pretense of protecting the public. Where is the independent investigation by the Just-Us Department? This has JANET RENO smeared all over itself.

if that story is true, and the cops killed all those bikers, how soon do you think we’ll have WhiteLivesMatter marches?...and the DOJ investigating?...and the DBM attacking the cops?

The agingrebel.com story certainly raises some interesting questions.

The list of biker clubs also raises some different questions. Throw out the Banditos, the Cossacks and the Scimitars, since they are known outlaw gangs but the others, I wonder about.
The Blackett Arms MC, Gypsy MC, HonorBound Motorcycle Ministry, Renatus MC, Escondidos MC, Sons of the South MC, Los Pirados MC, Leathernecks MC, Vietnam Vets/Legacy Vets MC, In Country MC and the Tornado Motorcycle Club all sound like a bunch of riders (bikers, if you will) that have common interest in addition to riding.

As a rider for over a half a century who has never had any use for the biker lifestyle or identity, I do know lots of folks that identify as "Bikers". Those other clubs sound like the ones they join. Time will tell but this story is starting to sound like it might have more than a little resemblance to a Waco story from almost three decades ago.

The threats aimed at the police in the comments are a nice touch.

“For anyone interested in the other side of the story:

http://www.agingrebel.com/12873";

It wouldn’t surprise me if this is what happened. I don’t know what it is about those Confederation of Clubs meetings but it sure gets the local police fired up. Does it around here too.

All the swat team guys needed to see is one gun and they would probably have mowed down as many of the bikers in sight with their fully automatic rifles as they could. It wouldn’t surprise me if this is in fact what happened. The police may have even been right with the law in this but it doesn’t make it right.

I’m familiar with these meetings but have never gone to one. I can say they primarily deal with legal problems bikers in that state are dealing with like harassment and helmet laws. Many times there is an attorney there to give advice on how to handle police stops. There isn’t any illegal stuff going on at the meetings. What private citizens do between themselves before and after those meetings has nothing to do with the meetings themselves. There is an opportunity for two clubs, while there, to straighten out a problem or misunderstanding which I’m sure happens all the time. Not usually with a gunfight though.

I have a feeling, although there is no way to know at this point, that the police in this instance are as much to blame as those guys who were arguing over a parking place. If true justice is done; there will be police officers going to jail too.

What really bothers me is a lot of innocent bikers have been charged with something they had nothing to do with. This was between two clubs (Bandidos) with one (Cossacks) absorbing a smaller one (Scimitars). The rest should be released immediately. It sounds childish and petty to outsiders but this is the world to them.

I know this isn’t going to be a popular thing to say here but after reading and gathering as much info as I can so far; that’s pretty much what it looks like happened.

For anyone who is quick to judge these bikers; just remember they are private citizens who, for the most part, just want to be left alone to live their life their way without hurting anyone. Not all of course; but most. That’s why one percenter’s are just one percent of the biker population. The other 99% are just as normal as anyone here.
