Michael D. Johnson wont fight fires. Instead he stays on the sidelines as his Engine Co. 257 colleagues rush into burning buildings, FDNY insiders told The Post.
Nicknamed Tragic Johnson by rank and file, hes managed to evade the smoke and flames several times since joining the Canarsie, Brooklyn, firehouse last year, sources confirmed.

Two weeks left on his 1 year probation, they better fire him or he’s going to get someone killed.
If I was running an insurance company I would find out where this guy is stationed, and then triple the property/casualty premiums on every building in that area.
Wow. It’s unusual to see a specific person called out like this. If everything is accurate, this guy’s gotta go.

It already did; years ago I met with a bank that wanted to do business with my employer, and two older white gentlemen showed up with a young black fellow (who would handle our account if we moved ahead with this). Every question I put to our prospective rep was handled by either of the two old white guys; our “rep” barely said anything. He was hired with no knowledge, skills, etc. and was basically going to learn on the job (managing our money); needless to say, we didn’t go with that bank...
Employers are expected to hire these “preferred minorities” and then educate them - not with what they failed to learn in higher education, but often with what they failed to learn in grammar school. A recipe for disaster, and a burden most companies can’t keep on their payroll.
We need the fire chief from “Chicago Fire”....he wouldn’t stand for this at all.
The affirmative action hire WILL NOT be fired. He will be promoted where he won’t have to deal with fire fighting.
Jesse Jackson is starting to shake down Silicon Valley companies in a big way, and local execs are all falling in line. It’s going to be interesting to see AA minorities with third grade math skills and a college degree attempt to perform on the job.
They probably don’t even need the degree; they’ll get a new-fangled one from a school that considers a month of data entry as sufficient “life experience” in the field to award a degree.
The only thing that matters is what you look like or who you sleep with. Ability and talent have no place in the modern world if you are not a white man.
