Free Republic is a political organization, so it does not have 501 C tax status; the Clintons, however (bless their pointed heads) are running a non-partisan, even charitable (?), organization which does have 501 C tax status.

Uniparty members who give money to organizations like theirs, here, little George S., anticipate nice tax write-offs next April, while conservatives who give to FR (as usual) will not.

As long as the Lerners and her lk at the IRS are allowed to make such absurd political distinctions in favor of their paymasters: the Democrats—vis a vis the taxpayers—they deserve to be abolished and their eaters-of-our-substance made to go out an earn a living ... like the rest of us.

The GOP tells us, “That’s great, take a number and we’ll get back to you, oh, say—around next fall.”

How do we help ourselves? A good beginning would be to withdraw support from those who claim to be our friends—but have their feet on our necks, and give more to Free Republic: the last best hope and 21st century battle of Corregidor for conservatives everywhere.

The Clinton presidential library lists Brunei along with Kuwait, Oman and Qatar (new home of the Gitmo Five) as donors that gave between $1 million and $5 million through last year.

This is standard operating procedure in these countries. You would almost think they want a return on their investment.

Didn’t Stephanopoulos also question the author’s ties to the Koch brothers and others? You can’t come out of the sty after wrestling with pigs and accuse someone else of having dirt under their nails.

Later in the ABC-TV interview, generous Foundation donor, Stephanopoulos said, “I still haven’t heard any direct evidence..... and you just said....... you had no evidence that Hillary intervened here.” He noted that other news organizations that used Schweizer’s research “haven’t confirmed any evidence of any crime.”

Stephanopoli dutifully buzz-sawed any whisper of wrong-doing.....but the ABC'er never mentioned his Clinton Foundation donation to ABC viewers.....in violation of the ABC network's requirement of "full disclosure."

Nevertheless, it looks like the ABC veteran and Foundation donor has the party-line down pat.

The Clintons' cadre of puckered-up ***-kissers (lying-in-wait for federal jobs)---are spinning the explosive "Clinton Cash" revelations like crazy----blathering about "not a shred of evidence" of criminal wrongdoing.

Or as ABC's George Stephanopoulos helpfully parrotted, "There's no smoking gun."

The party-line (to save Hillary's ***) is that "it’s extremely difficult to identify a direct quid pro quo"....b/c while Hillary was Secy of State, foreign funny money was moving around from hand to hand with big money deals approved which she could say were going to be approved anyway.

And at the same time, all that foreign money was floating around, it was flowing into the "charitable Clinton Foundation"..... not into Hillary’s bank account (/snicker).

Richard Clarke, Clinton’s chief counterterrorism adviser, after falling out with the Bush administration early on, specifically Condi Rice, was quickly hired by ABC as a consultant. He still appears on ABC, some fifteen years later, weighing in on terrorism issues.
