Is it safe to turn on the radio?
two and half hours now...deflategate..the countdown.
I’ve pretty much given up on listening to him for any longer than 10 minutes. During that time, he’ll usually want to go off on sports-related stuff - he usually does.
I used to listen to him because of what matters in this country and what conservatives need to know and how to do something about it. I do not want to hear him speak on something about sports endlessly, even though it gives him a great deal of pleasure (obviously). He’s pretty much lost me as a listener because of it.
I record the show and edit after in order to filter out the silliness (the Paul Harvey-like long-form plugs and, it must be said, most of the eminently predictable calls).
I could only manage an exasperated chuckle when, after nearly 2 hours of airtime spent on yet another Deflategate monologue, Rush admitted ‘I’m not telling you anything new here.’
NO KIDDING! NEXT SUBJECT PLEASE!
