Jeb Bush: Opposing In-state Tuition For Illegals 'Over The Line'

Opposing in-state tuition for illegal immigrants is going “over the line,” according to former Florida Governor and likely GOP presidential candidate Jeb Bush. In an interview that aired Monday on Fox News, Bush, who supported granting in-state tuition for illegal immigrants when he was governor, noted that Florida’s version of the DREAM Act was recently passed by a “conservative Republican legislature led by a very courageous Speaker of the House” and signed into law by Republican Governor Rick Scott.

“I supported that,” he said. “If you’ve been here for an extended period of time, you have no nexus to the country of your parents, what are we supposed to do? Marginalize these people forever?”

Why are the commie ‘RATS demanding that U.S. taxpayers pay college tuition for foreigners? What did we ever do to deserve that punishment?

I wouldn't be shocked if he, and/or Christie did just that. It's an easier path to victory on the other side.

Crossing a state border legally gets you a higher tuition.

Crossing a national border illegally gets you in-state tuition.

Libtard logic at it’s best.

(What happens if an illegal crosses into a different state?)

Alarming. Not just Jeb’s views but the blatant manner in which he is sticking his thumbs in the eyes of the Party base. Tells me that Rove and the gang are sure he has the nomination sewn up by virtue of the GOPe rigging the primary process. I wonder how many of the current GOPe candidates in the field are there to do no more than be proxy warriors for Jeb and attack the conservatives? They are certainly soaking up money. Huckster is on the attack against everyone but Jeb. I am telling you, something is rotten in Roveland.

I would have thought that charging criminals in the state illegally less for tuition than you charge United States citizens from another state would be over the line. But I’m not a RINO.

Bush. What an ABSOLUTE ass!

I want to see a demonstration of LEGAL IMMIGRANTS start showing up at his rally asking that if he becomes President, he refund them their thousands of dollars of legally going through US Consulate and Embassies abroad because he, as president, is making no distinction between their legal acts (out of love and respect of the USA), and the illegal acts of others in the dark (the "shadows" they call it) out of disrespect, greed and disdain, not to mention outright dishonesty.

This MAN is "way over the line". Going Third Party Conservative for SURE this time, if he somehow gets the GOP nod--I have heard all the excuses already but enough, having put up with Dole, McLame and Romney.

Seriously, Jeb,

how can anyone possibly make a reasonable assertion that
ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS
are “residents” of any state
and deserving of “in-state tuition”?

Tuition, hell.

Give ‘em a pick and shovel and make them dig a moat on the border.

Does this idiot understand that giving in-state tuition to citizens of other countries illegally in our country is discriminatory against U.S. citizens from other states?
