Zimmerman Shooter Claims Self Defense

Tells press “This is your opportunity to get out of my face right now.”

So this should be interesting:

Matthew Apperson, the man who yesterday fired a bullet at George Zimmerman’s head and missed, is now claiming through his lawyer, Mark NeJame, that he did so in self-defense in response to Zimmerman brandishing a gun at him.

Florida news station WFTV is also reporting that Apperson has a history at least six arrests in Seminole County alone, including twice for DUI in 2000 (once found guilty of DUI, once found guilty of reduced charge of reckless driving-alcohol related), twice for drug possession in 1995 and 1998 (cannabis < 20 grams), once for trespassing, as well as being adjudicated guilty for other charges, such as driving with a revoked license.

As might be expected with such a plethora of charges, Apperson is also a multiple probation violator.

It will be interesting to see how Apperson will argue self-defense in court without having to testify personally, which would seem necessary absent any witnesses to support his claim that he fired at Zimmerman only when Zimmerman brandished a gun at him.

Also interesting will be Apperson’s explanation of how he was able to observe Zimmerman’s alleged brandishing through the heavily tinted window of Zimmerman’s SUV.

Apperson was very belligerant to the press blowing smoke into their faces. WFTV said he and his wife "stormed" into his house when the media were outside. (6pm news) WFTV interviewed his neighbors and some neighbors called Apperson "crazy" and one said she stays away from him. She said she had to call the police on him not long ago and "he is very smart. He knows just how far to push it to keep his nose clean." The WFTV website does not show these interviews but they may have been captured elsewhere on the internet or may appear later. Many national news people are painting this as though GZ is brandishing a gun everywhere he goes and asking for such incidents. Local press is not liking Apperson at all after how he acted so they are reporting the bad stuff on Apperson. They also have learned not to jump to conclusions after the women in GZ's life causing false alarms.

the shooter sounds like a nut, but you just don't get into so much trouble unless you are subconsciously or consciously looking for it.
I believe he shot Obama’s son in self defense.

I also think he has issues along the line of Napoleon complex. Maybe feels he always has to prove something.

Some guy on Staten island recently wanted me to pull over and fight because of some stupid reason. I slowed to 15 miles per hour and he did too. He finally drove off after about 10 minutes.

10 years ago I would have gotten out and he would have gotten out and the only thing that would have beat him to the hospital would have been the lights on the ambulance. But I am 46 and very out of shape and I guess a little more mature. Point being these situations can usually be avoided. This is about the fourth time he's had trouble. Too many to be coincidence.

Hmm I wonder...maybe AssPerson is acting on orders from someone to follow Zimmerman around and antagonize him until he snaps.to create a false flag event for gun control using the image of an out of control Zimmerman waving a gun and threatening to shoot people as a way of frightening the mush minded of society to work them into a frenzy...

LOL! Assperson lol lol lol Oh I have absolutely no doubt people are trying to antagonize Zimmerman. I can only imagine the hell that guy goes through. When it comes to Obama, what you are seeing is only the tip of the iceberg. He says in public St. Trayvon could have been his son, so you can just imagine what he says in private, bitch ass mofo probably put a hit on Zimmerman. This is a President who sends in people to antagonize people on the street to riot and destroy millions of dollars of property when a thug gets killed, he does it out of revenge. So it goes without saying he is going to get revenge on Zimmerman as well.

That’s true. It makes sense that Zimmerman doesn’t want to be seen. And he is armed which also makes sense, considering the race industry has put a bounty on his head.

However, he does have an American flag on his car and that could make him guilty of a hate crime. If Apperson really is that intelligent and evil, he should claim that he was enraged by the flag.

Outside of Florida, the US is big and the world is huge. Zimmerman needs to move somewhere else and live a quiet life.
