Denying a snub simply validates the utter embarrassment.

It's no snub. A snub would be myriad steps up the political butt-kicking. It's an absolute embarrassment, slap in the face for the Muslim Ass cracker, who is finally being seen as the has been Community leader, politically impotent, flaccid as lame duck season has arrived unseasonably early.

Cancel and save taxpayer dollars. Obama can instead spend some time with Mooch, which also will save us money to not be flying her on another weekend trip.

Well, we all know the rats lie as a matter of course. Therefore, if they say it isn’t a snub, then we can best believe it IS a snub.

This fiasco shows once again the utter ineptitude of amateur hour at State. You don’t just snap your fingers and expect six Heads of State to drop everything and come running. This takes a lot of time and diplomatic maneuvering. Plus, it also shows these rulers have no confidence that anything substantive would come of it. They don’t see the point of taking time out of their jobs to go play monkey boy for 0bama’s photo op.

The White Hut is correct. It is not a "snub". It is a full fledged "finger".

It must really suck to think you are the Chief King and none of the other Kings pay any attention to you.

Or maybe they think that having all the Saudi leaders meeting with Obama is dangerous. Someone might try to take Obama out, and they would be collateral damage. That is why they are sending their flunkies.

WHY should they attend??

Obama will show up, utter some long-winded meaningless speech, then have them all break down into “Understanding and working groups”, or some such meaningless liberal drivel, where they will be lectured about gay rights.

Can anyone give us a understanding of exactly why they are not coming, country by country?

I can’t see past my own snub of the One.

The last time the White House denied that something was a snub was when Obama refused to join the leaders of the free world for a solidarity march in Paris after the Charlie Hebdo murders.

But even though Obama himself didn’t consider his snub an actual snub, many others did, and he was criticized for his absence to the point that John Kerry thought it was necessary to apologize to the French president by turning up with James Taylor in tow to embarrass the U.S. with a rendition of ‘’You’ve Got a Friend.’’

It’s very doubtful that the King of Saudi Arabia cares enough about the sensibilities of our current president to bother apologizing for blowing off his Arab summit meeting here. In fact, the King is busy trying to restore the legitimate leader of Yemen to power after Obama failed in his efforts to keep that country from being overrun by ISIS.

How long will it be before John Kerry realizes he needs to ingratiate himself with the Saudis before they lower the price of oil to the point where U.S. oil companies are flooding the bankruptcy courts?
