George Zimmerman was involved in a shooting incident in Lake Mary on Monday afternoon, according to Lake Mary Police Chief Steve Bracknell.
The shooting involved two men and happened on Lake Mary Boulevard, police said.
Officers at the scene said it appeared Zimmerman suffered a minor gunshot wound, Bracknell said.
In January, Zimmerman was accused of assault by his girlfriend, but no charges were filed after she recanted her allegation.
He was also arrested in November 2013 on domestic violence allegations after his girlfriend called police. His girlfriend later recanted her story and charges were never filed.
Zimmerman was acquitted in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin in 2013.

There is one woman. Singular. Not a conspiracy of women. Getting a battered woman to press charges or even come forward is extremely difficult. Repeatedly retracting an accusation made repeatedly will not make Zimmerman’s life a living hell, it makes her look a fool. If it were false, he would break up with the girl and finished. She recants and stays with him, and the abuse continues.
My daughter finally woke up when he broke her oldest girl’s leg. Until then, there were endless ups and downs, including police calls. She was four, now seven and she and her sister, now four, are living with me.
I don’t know about you, but I never idolized Zimmerman. He was a poor boob who got himself into a situation where he had to shoot his way out to save his life, and the media along with the usual suspects found out and turned his life into a living hell. I sympathize. But Matt Dillon he wasn’t.

Exactly - a baited headline.
They want you to assume he did the shooting.
Zimmy was shot and didn’t return fire.
He has embraced non-violence,

The media has created a hero out of someone who, according to police records [probably expunged by now] who from the time he was old enough to walk, living outside the law and spent his entire life harming and hurting others. in fact, when he died he was attempting to beat the life of someone.
Then, they took another individual, who from what is known of him, lived within the law and helped his fellow man when the opportunity to do so arose. And to him they tried to create a pariah.
If we had honest impartial law enforcement, the individuals would have been arrested for making terroristic threats. One of the members of that organization, happens to live in the City of Tampa, Florida. Which is located in Hillsborough County, Florida. Where David Gee is Sheriff. She recently issued some threats which, in my opinion, should be taken very seriously. And to beat the dead horse one more time, If we had honest impartial law enforcement, she would have been arrested.
It gives the reader a more negative image of George Zimmerman. To hell with the truth and facts.
Why wait?
He would have been doing brain surgery and designing space ships by now.
And then posters on this forum will be posting the same things that they post about Zimmerman. Along the lines of, he/she was looking for trouble, he/she should have _____, he/she is/was always a troublemaker, and you name it.
But it is always George’s fault. If you do not believe that, ask a member of the media, or their parrots on this forum.
You know this for a fact from your own personal interactions and observations of George Zimmerman, or are a parrot of the media’s version?
I said that a long time ago. If it had been me, the sun would not have set on me in Florida after I was acquitted. But that is him, not me.

The eneMedia is already casting Zimmerman as “a troublemaker.” Facts seem to make them break out in hives.
