He wrote a song “Nothing Compares 2 U”, which became Sinead O’Connor’s biggest hit in this country back in 1989.
Prince claims to have never been happy with how she sang that song. Most say he probably wishes he had released it himself. Now the song is mostly identified with Sinead, not him.
