I can’t remember her name but I went to a Women in Law conference in mid-Kansas several years ago (maybe 15) and the then president of the ACLU was speaking and she said something to the effect that they had to occasionally represent pro-life people and that to her it was like representing Nazis. At that point I stood up and left the hall. I think now I would probably have gone up and confronted her, maybe tackled her.
What? They don’t already get credit for that?

Not only excuse the absence, give them extra credit for civics activities. /S
