Is the lesson we are to draw (pun intended) from all this that when Christians and Jews start killing some of those who go out of their way to offend our religious sensibilities their cohorts will stop doing it and warn others not to?
I can understand if, for tactical reasons, a military leader or a negotiator or a pro American foreign leader, might keep their fingers crossed or even request that nothing the inflames the enemy happens during a critical time frame. However the strategic goal has to be a society where cartoons are not censored, women can dress in any polite manner but not under a burka, where freedom applies to both genders and all classes. What we’re getting is creeping Sharia Law.
Of course. They can’t have it both ways. You can’t claim violent Muslims have nothing to do with Islam and support banning criticism of Islam because it’s inevitable that there will be violence. It makes no sense.
The left are just cowards. They’d never apply this sensitivity toward Christianity. Although they know the Democrats won’t get the Christian vote, they want to appeal to Muslims as though they care, just to get Democrat’s votes.
They don’t see the conflict with Muslims and the LGBT crowd being under the same tent. At some point they’re gonna have a problem.
