American Liberal Fascism

“American liberalism today”, writes Jonah Goldberg, “sees no realm of human life that is beyond political significance, from what you eat to what you smoke to what you say. Sex is political. Food is political. Sports, entertainment, your inner motives and outer appearance, all have political salience for liberal fascists”. While Liberal fascism differs from classical fascism, what unites them are their “emotional or instinctual impulses, such as the quest for community, a faith in the perfect ability of man, the authority of experts, and an obsession with the cult of action, and the need for an all-powerful state”, notes Goldberg.

When Barack Obama states, “I should’ve anticipated the optics”, in response to criticism regarding a golf game that he played minutes after making a statement about an American getting beheaded, we see his disregard for human life in the realm of political insignificance.

An American had just been beheaded while simultaneously a war had just been declared on our country and the response by the President of the United States is that “it’s not so much how it affects me personally…iv’e got to make sure we’ve got a good policy, a smart policy, that prevents these kinds of things from happening in the future”.

Moreover, seeing how Obama was more concerned with how he would politically, after the execution and negative criticism, defines what liberal fascism represents today. An absolute obsession of politics. Reasoning, reality and even democracy itself be dammed. The examples are everywhere.

Take for instance liberals universal response, that was non-existent, to the IRS targeting of Obama’s political enemies for persecution. By concluding and even applauding the government for breaking and ignoring the law to defeat your political enemies, liberals are veering into dangerous but familiar territory.

John Hawkins of Town Hall elaborates the danger for “a republic can’t function when one side of the political debate is treated above the law”. Hawkins concludes, “either the law applies equally to both sides of the political debate or good people will begin to feel that they have no choice other than to operate outside the law in order get justice”.

This is evidently true given the statements made by the Department of Justice, specifically those made by Eric Holder whom proudly accepts being an Activist Attorney General. Holder disregards the law by zealously taking the side of the left by doing the bidding of the Obama adminstration while giving the appearance of having authority. His credibility lies directly with his inability and indifference to apply the law equally on both sides.

Holder’s latest example of activism was brought to light in a letter addressed to him sent by House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa regarding a phone conversation between Brian Fallon of the U.S. Dept. of Justice and one of Issa’s committee staff members.

On Friday, September 5th, Issa’s staff received a mistaken phone call from the Justice Department about the committees ongoing interest into the IRS targeting of conservative applicants. Fallon requested the committee to “leak documents to the media so that the Department could publicly comment on the material”. Unfortunately, Fallon had thought he was speaking to the staff of Ranking Member Elijah Cummings. Thus, confirming collaboration between Holder’s Justice Department and Cummings to “obfuscate and prejudice the committees work through under-the-table coordination”, states Issa.

In this example the liberals aren’t only cheering for the breaking of the law, but are actually taking part in it. From the Attorney General himself to a ranking member of the committee investigating such illegal behavior and this is without mentioning that the most insidious claims against the IRS have been proven true.

On September 4th, Judicial Watch confirmed in a release of new emails that the agency [IRS] – under Lois Lerner ‘s leadership – used its investigative powers to obtain donor lists from conservative non-profit political groups. These donor lists were also used in a “secret research project” briefly alluded to in emails between then acting IRS commissioner Steve Miller and David Fish, acting Director of Exempt Organizations Rulings and Agreements. These two startling revelations have come about within the past week alone and more will surely leak out.

The obsession of control via the intrusiveness of the government has been enabled by outright liberal fascists and it doesn’t end with IRS.

Within the senate this week Majority Leader Harry Reid unleashed his most cynical attack to date on Americans whom involve themselves in politics with a proposed constitutional amendment to give the government the power to sensor what it deems reasonable political speech. Sponsored by democrat Senator Tom Udall the proposal would give the government the “power to regulate the raising and spending of money with respect to elections, including through setting limits on…contributions to candidates…and expenditures that may be made by, in support of, or in opposition to such candidates”. If this proposal was to be added the repercussions would be that of destruction to the enemies of liberal fascists, conservatives.

While the majority of American’s don’t recognize their fellow American’s for being enemies due to a differing in political views, liberal fascists consider them akin to terrorists.

“The anarchists have taken over”, shouted Harry Reid on the Senate floor.

“I call them legislative arsonists…They’re there to burn down what we should be building up”, chanted an enraged Rep. Nancy Pelosi.

“What we’re not for is negotiating with people with a bomb strapped to their chest”, stated Senior White House Advisor Dan Pfeifer.

If one wasn’t a follower of politics they would assume that the Senate Majority Leader, the House Minority Leader and the Senior White House Advisor were all justified in labeling the very real threat posed by the terror group that calls itself the Islamic State.

Unfortunately, these weren’t the emotional impulses felt against actual terrorists whom have beheaded two Americans, but instead this was the reaction to Republicans amid the budget impasse over Obamacare last year. It should amaze those who don’t follow politics and educate those who do.

Republicans, tea partiers, conservatives and constitutionalists are not the enemy. Sadly, while liberals such as Pelosi, Reid, Pfeifer, Holder, Cummings, Udall and Obama are quick to label the opposing party as the threat with hell bent emotion, they remain silent in the face of actual terrorists.

Almost as if they were seemingly unaware that an actual threat exists other than the one created by a figment of their imagination.

Interpolate "The Plot to Seize the White House" by Jules Archer, with "Tragedy & Hope" by Carroll Quigley (Bubba's favorite Georgetown Prof):

Fascism was the political manifestation of the period of economic history known as Monopoly Capitalism.

Unless you account for which particular popular interest group the ultra wealthy are manipulating for their own ends, you aren't even talking.

Sex is a free-for-all in this country, unless you’re a married couple who doesn’t cheat. But when the commie revolution comes, the gays and hedonists better be prepared - they will be the first ones executed. Revolutionaries tend to be puritanical - except for the elites, of course.

The conclusion, then, would be that the communist revolution won't come, because there aren't that many puritans around any more -- certainly not among leftists.
