Ed Miliband seen in video as a young student protester [rent strike in 1991]

He has put a campaign against excessive rent rises at the centre of his election campaign.

And as this newly unearthed footage shows, Ed Miliband has form when it comes to protests against private landlords...

Labour leader Ed Miliband -- who called himself 'Ted' at university -- led a 'rent strike' when he was a student 24 years ago, archive footage revealed today

The clip, from the Spring of 1991, went undiscovered in the archives of ITV Meridian because of Mr Miliband's name change.

He is interviewed in his grey jumper and sports a pudding bowl haircut, but the nasal drawl and stuttering delivery is unmistakeable...

'I was a Ted, I was a Ted, it feels like a long time ago, that's probably because it was a long time ago.'

He also claimed the protesters 'made progress' as a result of the strike. But according to his biographer, the campaign was unsuccessful.

In the last Labour party political broadcast, Mr Miliband reflected on what his Marxist father Ralph (pictured) had taught him about the power of politics...

He went to Corpus Christi College in 1989 to study Politics, Philosophy and Economics, and has described the dispute as 'my best four weeks at university'...

A contemporary, Marc Stears, one of Mr Miliband's oldest friends, has said the modern Miliband is 'exactly the same person he was as a 19-year-old.'

'Even then he knew that there was a worry he could be dubbed "Red Ed" -- except then it would have to have been "Red Ted", because that's what he was known as.'

Recent pictures of Miliband show he’s not that much older looking than that picture.

Just think, the British admitted his family as refugees from the Nazis.

And this is how they were repaid: the freak starts protests, riots, and proposes to criminalize speech against the Muslim Religious Fascists that the British also let in.

Real gratitude, huh?

Openly atheist. Openly Marxist. That’s mainstream British politics for you these days.
