LOLLOL! The Iranian frigate was launched in 1971 by Britain, is obsolete, and is one-tenth the size of a Burke DDG. The accompanying P-3Cs routinely fly unarmed and do ISR daily. The US DDG could have made short work of the Iranian surface target. That said, I do not dismiss the mendacity of the current administration in such confrontations.
