I mentioned this idea on another thread earlier today but this article makes me think that if you were to compare how gossip legends Hedda Hopper and Louella Parsons covered Hollywood (under the control of studio heads like Louis B Mayer) in the 1930s through 1950s era to how Norah, Oprah, Rosie and other media elites (under the control of the Democrat machine)cover politics today, you’d be hard pressed to find any difference.

The ODonnell bit opened with this statement,
"Haley is one of only three female Republican governors nationwide . . . "The curious thing is that the number of female democrat governors nationwide is - three. I wonder why it was important to use the word only when it is not an unusual quantity in this instance.
