Break their laws, pay their price.

I have problems feeling sorry for her if she really is guilty.

So did she do the crime or not? If so, and if this is the statutory punishment for that crime, and she knew it, why are we supposed to care if she’s a grandma or not?

Customs officers found cocaine worth an estimated £1.6 million ($2.4 million) hidden in a false bottom in Sandiford's suitcase when she arrived in Bali on a flight from Thailand in 2012.

Sandiford admitted the offences, but says that she agreed to carry the drugs after a drug syndicate threatened to kill her son.

Dumbass.

Should have called the cops not smuggle the drugs. These countries don't play.

Maybe the Indonesian courts and cops run the drug trade and don’t like foreign competition.

I support the death penalty, but the punishment should fit the crime. IMO, this does not. It’s overkill, literally.

Sandiford, originally from Redcar in northeast England, wrote that she planned to sing the cheery popular song "Magic Moments" when facing the firing squad.

How does her death sentence for drugs compare with those who carried out the mass-murder bombings in Bali?

I thought I heard that the Indonesian government has let some of those guys out of prison.

As Baretta says, if you can’t do the time, don’t do the crime.

And that’s the name of that tune.

What’s with the tear-jerker headline? She was convicted for drug smuggling, not for being a grandmother.
