Rick Santorum: 'Love and accept' Bruce Jenner (If he says he's a woman, then he's a woman)

Former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum is clarifying — but not stepping back from — surprising comments this weekend in support of former Olympian Bruce Jenner's decision to come out as a transgender woman.

"If he says he's a woman, then he's a woman," Santorum told BuzzFeed during a roundtable discussion in South Carolina on Saturday.

Santorum continued: "My responsibility as a human being is to love and accept everybody. Not to criticize people for who they are."

We have a presidential CANDIDATE claiming to be the Messiah, the Anointed One, the "Raising of the Priests" (whatever that means), and THE FACE OF GOD. (and he comes from a SEVERELY dysfunctional home with an alcoholic father from some religious cult who was absent fighting for and raising money for communists in Cuba when Ted was growing up, then deserted the family, and apparently the co-dependent wife let the alcoholic deadbeat dad back in; Ted's current children seldom see their father OR mother and are raised by one or more nannies according to Mrs. Cruz. On the rare occasions Ted's home with his daughters, they call him a "guest", per Mrs. Cruz. So thinking you are the "Face of God" and requiring your accomplished, careerist wife to CALL you that is the least of their problems.)
