A quick question about racism in America.
Consider this: as I watched the demonstrations and riots in Baltimore, it appeared to me that the great majority of participants in both were Black. Therefore, I would presume that the large majority of those arrested were Black. Does that mean:
a) the police are racists for arresting so many Blacks (even though they were performing criminal acts)?; or,
b) they just need to arrest more Whites (even though they're not performing criminal acts) just to even the score?
Of course, the obvious answer is neither. If it's not applicable to Baltimore, why is it applicable to Ferguson. Or, is it a case of making the facts support your position, even if you have to twist their meaning???
So, leftists, once you get your head around that, answer this: If it is racist to arrest a disproportionate number of Blacks in Baltimore, is it not also racist for the Mayor to release a disproportionate number of Blacks???
It appeared to me that all the participants were black, blacker than Obama at least!
The morons who "protested" in NYC, on the other hand, appeared to be a mixed bag.
Rather than herd everything into some easy-to-grasp one-size-fits-all situation....I’d respond that Ferguson is just Ferguson. Trayvon is just Trayvon. Baltimore is just Baltimore.
Simplify Baltimore. One single guy. He’s a lead-paint disability guy....getting some kind of check. He’s got asthma, and he does drugs (not a great mixture). He’s got 18 arrests (that’s 18 more than me, but it doesn’t mean he’s a mean-spirited guy....just that he’s living life on the edge). On his last day of life....he’s got some cash...goes for some drugs. We never know what he bought, or if he ingested this drug assortment. PCP? Might be in the mix. Cops chase him....arrest him...haul him off. His inhaler for the asthma was in the cop’s possession. Maybe if he’d had the inhaler, things would have differently. The truck ride is normally uneventful, but this time....the guy broke his neck.
Nothing else. At best, you can break this into ten facts, and somehow...CNN can rid forty-eight hours out of these ten facts. Sadly, for most of us...it doesn’t matter. The worst we’ve experienced in life is a traffic ticket. The strongest drug? Penicillin. The most dangerous town? Tupelo, Mississippi on a Saturday night. We have no relationship or baring on Baltimore....nor do most of us care to ever travel to Baltimore.
As for the riots? After a while, it’s entertainment. Kinda like Game of Thrones....a new reality-fantasy show with cop cars burning, flames coming out of gas stations, and tribal warfare in some faraway land.
Some people just want to ‘protest’ to be ‘a part of something’ their lives are so empty and meaningless, so they show up just to be see and be seen..................
Some on this forum are treating it like Facebook: Posting teasers in the leaders, just to get viewers to open the thread, when there is ample room to include the entire statement. Now that I’ve made my statement, I won’t be opening these types of threads any more. They’re a waste of time, page space, and bandwidth.
“They can call it whatever they want. Romney didn’t win did he?” Reid said during a wide-ranging interview.
One line vanity threads are frowned upon in the News Forum.
Always post your vanity comment in the body of the post.
And add the topic “vanity.”
We usually move these one line vanities to the chat forum.
Don’t be surprised if it ends up there.

Blacks get stopped more, arrested more because they commit more crimes.
But that truth, no matter how easily verfiiable, is unPC, so it cannot be told.
“The morons who “protested” in NYC, on the other hand, appeared to be a mixed bag.”
George Soros does not hire blacks for his Rent-A-Mobs!
Didn’t I follow those rules, other than adding the topic “vanity”? I responded to the post within the post. I’m the one who complained about the post being replicative of Facebook.
You were pinged so you could see that your concerns were being addressed.
10-4. Thanks.
