A special celebration was held Thursday honoring University of Miami president Donna Shalala.
This past fall, Shalala announced that she is stepping down as president at the end of the 2014 - 2015 university year.
....Shalala says she plans to return to the faculty as a professor of political science and health policy.

Of course, the Miami media is LOATHE to report on the Clinton corruption....the same Miami media will eagerly report any allegation against Rick Scott, Marco Rubio, or any given white cop.

Presidents can't do anything except suggest/enact policy ... they have no control over whether the policy is carried out the way the policy maker envisions
Ahhh ... but if you are IN the classroom, you can SEE the future hillary or barak ... THAT'S why she stays in the game.
I remember her, she and three other Cabinet Secretaries held a WH Press Conference voicing their support of the Chief Liar.

Shalala is probably the best thing to ever happen to the University of Miami. While politically, I have my problems with her (but she WAS the only one in his cabinet to get up into Clintons face), there is no question that she helped UM a great deal academically as well as financially.

Hey, not so fast. I agree that the Miami media has no integrity, nor does Shalala, but I am not sure Shalala IS going to The Clinton Foundation. Haven’t heard about it now for weeks since “Clinton Cash” came out. I am no Shalala fan, but even though she has been announced as the new head of the Foundation (they need someone who “looks” official, etc) haven’t heard a thing recently!! Clintons becoming persona non grata....

She has left the University with a great legacy, but I imagine she is having second thoughts about entering into her next phase with the Clinton Foundation. By the time the 2016 campaign is over, this enterprise may look like an Enron like meltdown.
