Watch live streaming video below as the defense continues to present its case in the trial of Cleveland police officer Michael Brelo.
Hes is facing two counts of voluntary manslaughter for the 2012 police chase and shooting that killed Timothy Russell and Malissa Williams.
The live stream is courtesy WKYC.com and is not available on some mobile devices nor during courtroom breaks.
For those unfamiliar with the case: Cleveland Police were involved in a high speed chase that resulted in over 100 shots fired into the suspects car. Suspects were later found to NOT have guns. Although they had attempted to ram police with the car.
Mayor Jackson has told police to be prepared with their riot gear as this case wraps up soon.
Timothy Russell and Malissa Williams.....white, black, other?
Black, but we have had recent encounters with the police where they shot and killed a 12 year old boy with an altered toy gun.
Things are a bit uncomfortable in the city right now.
Don’t forget we’re hosting the RNC next summer too.
PS. back on Dec. 3, 2014 the DOJ has already ruled Cleveland Police use excessive force.
CLEVELAND, Ohio Cleveland police officers have a habit of using excessive force, the U.S. Justice Department revealed Thursday following a months-long investigation into the practices of the Cleveland Division of Police.
Read the DOJ’s findings in the document viewer below.
Attorney General Eric Holder delivered the findings during a Thursday press conference in Cleveland.
Cleveland police lack accountability, are inadequately trained and too often resort to unnecessary force, according to the DOJ.

Is this a jury or bench trial?
Piss-poor reporting from several sources makes it hard to tell.
It is a bench trial, no jury.
Only one white officer is charged out of all the those who participated in the chase and shooting. I think they said close to 150 shots into the vehicle.
Thanks for clarifying.
Saw that and found more info.
Also saw Brelo jumped on the hood of the car and fired his last 15. Not exactly the actions of someone fearful for their life.
Brace up Cleveland, you’re next!
