Zechariah 12:1The burden of the word of the LORD concerning Israel. Thus declares the LORD who stretches out the heavens, lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him,2”Behold, I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that causes reeling to all the peoples around; and when the siege is against Jerusalem, it will also be against Judah. 3”It will come about in that day that I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples; all who lift it will be severely injured. And all the nations of the earth will be gathered against it.…The literal translation is “a cup of poison.” Forgive them Father, they know not what they do. In my opinion, all the Nations includes the United States.

Yes, ALL nations will turn against Israel. And run straight into the Lord’s Return. It will not be pretty.

Yesterday the legal immigration haters came out to play on FR, today it’s the people wanting to toss Israel under the bus.

And no lightning.

AMEN! I have been praying that God would remove this whole administration from office BEFORE 2016. We need to pray even more that it happens soon! Obama is our judgment from God, I do believe, but we can turn the tables by repenting of our national sin of sacrificing our children on the altar of Molech. We have murdered, yes, murdered!, over 57 million babies, 99+% for nothing more than convenience. We are under judgment, but nobody wants to admit this. The longer we wait to repent, the greater the judgment and destruction from it will be.

If America is backing Muslim Brotherhood and the ayatollahs, it can do it without me.

Next up: The Islamic State, aka ISIS, will soon rise to the level of the Palestinian Authority at the UN.

A pledge to support Israel is always in our best interest. We owe Israel everything. If we abandon Israel, then God will abandon us and His Wrath will descend on America.

I zipped through about 2/3 of Power’s testimony and didn’t find anything like Glick was suggesting. But it could still be in there. These hearings are so tedious...no Trey Gowdy to liven things up.

I guess your Bible is missing the page that contains Genesis 12:3.

“And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”

You’re welcome.

The Bible does not say ‘only if Israel remains holy’.

IF Stephen Harper is reelected, Canada will maintain its perfect record of never having voted against Israel at the UN, a record that NO OTHER country can match. If not? It will likely join O’Venal in voting against Israel, for its destruction. Woe to countrriues that try to destroy Israel. The Lord will deal with them.

When Obama took his oath of office, he took what is known as a solemn oath.

A solemn oath is one in which God is a witness to the oath.

When someone takes a solemn oath and they have no intention of fulfilling their promise, God does not like being forced to witness the lie.

So, the person taking a solemn oath, which the Oath of Office is, then that person curses himself.

George Washington took the Oath of Office very seriously and put into place the physical aspects of the presidential oath. He was the one who added the hand on the Bible in order to impress us all that it was a very important act.

We have a couple of presidents who lied to God and us numerous times - Clinton and Obama.

They have cursed themselves and it is the type of action that the Holy Spirit has a very difficult time forgiving.

Can God find 10 good men in the city?

I would say yes. We are not cursed. And, by the goodness of God ...

Wow, you seriously need to do some Bible study. Common sense? Your common sense is opposite of what God says about Israel and blessing her. SHE is the apple of God’s eye - not America. God has blessed America because of our Judeo-Christian heritage and standing with Israel. Israel must act in HER own interests. You are going to have to answer to God for your anti-Israel position. God made a covenant with Israel, and that CANNOT be broken. Please stop spewing your anti-Israel crap.

Genesis 12

“1 Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee:

2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”

The Lord was speaking to Abraham, not Israel in that verse.

How much more of a signal do we need than the destruction of the Temple ?

God kept his Word. He did not break his covenant, Israel did.

Since Israel is going to be corporately (which is different than personally) restored in the future - that means they must need restoration. They therefore must be in a fallen state, as the Bible says they are (Romans 11). They have been effectively divorced. God is preserving them as a people for this restoration. He still loves them - but at this point they hate and reject him and they amply demonsrate that by their embrace of secular humanism, sodomy, leftism, and basically all the diabolicial agendas espoused by new world order.

As long as this modern state of Israel acts wickedly and rejects the Son of God, just like all its neighboring states do, then the whole lot of them, Muslim and Jew, are Christ-hating.

They mostly completely focus on bloodlines and reject the Scriptural idea of belief - which is consistently taught in the Old Testament. Just search the Old Testament for words starting with belief.

As the Apostle Paul (a scholarly Jew himself) teaches:

Romans 2:29 “But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.”

Being born a Jew or being circumcised does not a true believer make. God is no respector of persons - it is belief in him that he calls for, not giving favor to this lineage or that.

This is why Christ directly and publicly addressed the Pharisaical leadership in those days, yet those same wrong thoughts continue even to this day. Corporately they reject Christ. Of course, personally, many have been converted to belief in Jesus Christ over the years.

The Bible tells us to patiently wait on God, and in the meantime to do as his Word commands and exhorts us.

Which is definitly not to support a heathen nation because of their claims to lineage. It stands to reason that withholding support would be a very constructive way to induce a heathen nation to rethink.

There are about 2 million Jews living in New York City, but I don’t hear any Christians calling on us to support New York City. While many Christians realize that NYC is chock full of socialist/communist/leftist thinking, and full of what we call “crony capitalists”, as well as sodomy and a host of other immoralities, we choose to ignore the fact that Jews in New York City, for the most part, are on the wrong side of all these issues as conservatives see them.

If you can see the faults in the state of America in terms of leftism / communism, the media, education, homosexual agenda, crony capitalism, etc., etc., etc., you’ll not find much support for your views amongst American Jews.

And yet, conservatives are told they must - must - “support” “Israel” because they are God’s chosen people.

While there may be Jews who simultaneously are: pro-2A, anti-sodomy, anti-abortion, anti-leftist (not just “watered down wishy-washy, but really anti-leftist) - they are a very rare bird. As God’s chosen people - corporately - they have a strange way of showing it.

It’s a quandry to me. I love the Jewish people for the father’s sakes:

Romans 11:28 “As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the father’s sakes.”

but I am very sickeningly disappointed in their general adherence to leftism and other globalist and truly anti-Christ agendas.

America doesn’t owe anything to anyone. Our foreign policy isn’t based on that. Basic error.

That verse calls us to support Israel, without qualification. God will be the judge over Israel and everyone else. When you are choosing not to support Israel, based on your judgment of Israel’s holiness, you are walking on dangerous ground; to wit, taking God’s place to judge Israel. Personally, I’ll just submit to God’s instructions and leave judgment to Him. You are braver than I, in the judging matter!

“We owe Israel nothing.”

Setting aside the religious argument for supporting Israel, they are our true ally in the Middle East, strategically positioned and provider of Intel. Further, why would we do this at such a dangerous juncture in terms of terrorism.

To me this reeks of Obama’s antisemitism.
