Exactly correct. The plan is to put the businesses in a lose-lose situation. Follow the law, and get protested for not discriminating. Discriminate, and get sued.

If you look a little, you see the same thing in a number of other “progressive” destruction campaigns, based on denial of reality.

Sell to people who can’t afford to buy houses, or get shut down; Sell to people who can’t afford to buy houses, and be blamed for the disaster that follows.

Produce oil and gas and be blamed as a polluter; cut down on the production because of regulation, and be called a price gouger.

Build a store in a crime ridden urban hell, and be called an expoiter; Don’t rebuild it after it is burned down and be called a racist who promotes “food deserts”.

The simple tactic is to use a lack of fact and logic to create lose/lose situations for people who actually produce things and provide goods and services, sometimes this is used for a direct shakedown, sometimes simply as way to push for more tax money. It always ends up as destructive in society, detrimental to most, and benificial to only a very few political activists and politicians.

Spot on post. People who engage in such tactics are enemies of this country, no exaggeration.
