The incident took place Tuesday as an LAPD horse named Charly was working a crime suppression detail at the beach, according to news release issued Thursday by the Los Angeles Police Department.
At some point, while Charlys mounted platoon officer was apparently away, someone tagged the horses hind-quarters with the letters RBS.
The silver colored graffiti was removed from Charly later that evening, according to the news release.

Well, technically, what was left in the street below the horse was HBS, not RBS.

Looks like they used a metallic-paint marker.

I wish they wouldn’t use the word “tagger” in lieu of the proper term “graffiti vandal.”
Death by a billion cuts.
Writing your communicative garbage on someone’s property is hardly the intellectual equivalent of a dog pi**ing on a fire hydrant.

I’d like to see him try this to an NOPD horse. I’m sure the NOPD would find a special place in the horse’s stall for the “tagger.”
