Donny Deutsch: People Want to 'Turn Page' on Hillary, But Rubio About the 'Future'
NewsBusters ^ | Mark Finkelstein

Posted on 04/24/2015 5:53:55 AM PDT by governsleastgovernsbest

There's an understandable tendency not to take Donny Deutsch too seriously. He can come across not as a credible political analyst but as a guy more interested in his abs and biceps and the next lady at the next Hamptons cocktail party. But let's give Donny his due: as an ad man, he at times offers interesting insights on politics seen in terms of brands and marketing. He also serves as a credible bellwether for a certain segment of the East Coast Dem donor class.

And so it was noteworthy that on today's Morning Joe, Deutsch declared that the string of scandals surrounding Hillary "really, really puts a dent in her candidacy and I really believe people are going to want to turn the page on Hillary Clinton." In contrast, Deutsch depicted Rubio as the candidate that people strongly associate with the future, making his candidacy "easy to manage. All he's got to say is 'future, future, future, future.'"

Well, Rubio's mad dash to the ultra-left has apparently worked.

He should throw his hat into the Democrat nomination process.

According to the author, the reason to listen is because DD offers interesting insights on politics seen in terms of brands and marketing, and also serves as a credible bellwether for a certain segment of the East Coast Dem donor class.

he string of scandals surrounding Hillary "really, really puts a dent in her candidacy

No it doesn't because all her scandals will be buried under the rug as usual courtesy of Democraps, RINOs and the MSM, and as we get closer to 2016 they will amp up the wattage and promote her as the savior of all humanity. The woman has 9 gabillion trillion scandals going back alllll the way to the 1970s. WHEN have scandals every hurt her? She was elected Senator with her 9 billion scandals, she was made Secretary of State with her 9 billion scandals and now she is running for POTUS again with her 9 billion scandals which will all be brushed under the rug just like last time she ran for POTUS. The b*tch should be in JAIL but because we have freakin' wussbags in the former Republican party, the Clintoons have been getting away literally with murder ever since these 2 grifters popped on the scene. Look at Bill, elected and reelected with his 9 billion scandals. Scandals mean nothing to the Clintoons because nobody ever does anything about them. Where are the prosecutors in this country? Are they any left with BALLS? Let's see how long it would take me to do the perp walk if I started a charity on the internet asking for money for crippled kids and people donated millions and I started spending that money on private jets, houses, vacations.

On this he may be correct, but Deutsche always reminds me of some sleazy character, like a pimp or a seller of fake gold coins.

But Rubio can’t be elected. He drank water on national TV. Hillary’s so-called scandals pale by comparison.

Rubio won’t be elected as a Republican because he betrayed the citizens by scheming with Schumer against the citizens.
Probably why DD sees him as the future, a future where fraudulently documented foreigners decide our fate as a nation.

I wouldn’t bet the house on that. FWIW I will vote for Cruz in primary but if I was betting the house it would be either Walker or Rubio.

The Cheap Labor Express has already paid millions for an amnesty candidate. It will take a miracle for us to nominate anyone who is not a cheap labor importer against the combined efforts of the RNC and the Ministry of Propaganda. If they do nominate Bush, Rubio, Perry, etc., they will lose, just like McAmnesty and Romneycare.

Deutsch is typical urban boomer libtard who is delusional enough to proclaim he’s really libertarian

When in fact he’s a PC statist

He’s unusual for urban Jewish as opposed to the serious communist sitting next to him

Far more handsome and likable

Gets hot chicks

I’d go to a strip joint with him

I don’t know about you, but I did not have any choice the last two times around. The nomination was decided for me by early primaries in blue states and open primaries in red states. The RNC has almost perfected the playbook for nominating a Democrat in an R jersey. By March of next year the GOP will have a nominee that supports amnesty unless some miracle happens.
