Personally, I think the student loan program insofar as the loans are guaranteed by the Federal Government should be abolished.

I think this program has been responsible for the proliferation of far to many questionable education sources for non-degree career fields, and worthless programs and degrees from both reputable and questionable colleges and universities. Liberal arts, political science, social working, women’s studies, gay studies, law enforcement, homeland security, et al.

Perhaps if these colleges with liberal programs didn’t get students with Federally backed loans, then maybe some of the lib professors would lose their jobs and actually have to work for a living.

In my long and storied employment history, I’ve never had a benefits package that was better than any of my bosses—Never.

How is that the people who work for we the taxpayers get such plum features?

Won’t happen. They ran squealing to Obama when their aides were all going to be forced onto the exchanges to buy health care. Crying that “they’ll all quit!” This would have the same effect.
