Sarah Palin suggested today that Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign kickoff is an imitation of the bus tour that the former vice presidential candidate conducted while mulling a bid of her own before the 2012 election cycle. “This Hillary Scooby-Doo Tour thing sure looks familiar,” Palin wrote in a Facebook post. “We’re flattered the liberals think the idea is really keen! Since it’s #ThrowbackThursday, it’s also pretty keen to thank the democrats [sic] for taking a page out of our playbook and also to share the picturesque, sincere, no-media ‘One Nation’ RV trek of ours a few years ago.” She released a video montage from the ‘One Nation’ tour. “Makes me want to fire up the RV again, load up the kids . . . Enjoy!” the former Alaska governor wrote in an apparent tease of a 2016 bid, which she told the Washington Post she was considering in January.
Palin isn’t the first Republican woman to accuse Clinton of copying her campaign tactics this cycle. “Imitation may be the sincerest form of flattery, but I could steal one of her lines and ask, ‘What difference does it make?’” Carly Fiorina told ABC after suggesting that Clinton had cribbed her “unlocking potential” mantra from Fiorina’s super PAC and noting a similarity between their book titles.
(Clinton’s latest memoir is called Hard Choices, while Fiorina’s is called Tough Choices.)

Sarah Palin is (unfortunately) turning into a female Donald Trump, as far as national politics goes.
Except that Trump’s “Scooby van” is a private jet, at least when his accountants allow it.

Swap out the picture on the mystery machine with that pic and Hillary waving. A quote, something like, “Flush your vote with Hillary.”
Probably because no one fancies dealing with the high probability that they'll be pulled over, hauled out of their car, tazed, cuffed, arrested, have their car, laptop, cellphones and cameras confiscated (and their attendant mass-storage devices copied and turned over to various alphabet agencies), be held overnight in a cell and then let out the next morning with a warning to stay away from a Secret Service protectee.
