Officials at Mitchell Primary School are apologizing after a book about a transgender child was read to most of the school’s K-3 students.
Criticism flooded the district after Fox News host Sean Hannity posted about the lesson on his website, prompted by a Mitchell school mother who was angry she wasn’t given advanced warning that teachers were reading students the book “I am Jazz” by Jessica Herthel and Jazz Jennings, the news site reports.
The book details the struggles of a child “with a boy’s body and a girl’s brain,” who eventually finds a doctor that tells the family the boy is a transgender.
The mother said she tried to approach school officials about her concerns but was given the cold shoulder.
“When I spoke with the principal he was very cold about it,” she said. “It’s amazing how thoughtless the school has been with this whole thing.”
“All information has been posted on the school’s guidance blog for parent review.”
That blog, written by guidance counselor Dana Richerich, contends “some people may think primary school students are too young to worry about addressing issues surrounding gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) students. Not so, experts say. It’s never too early to begin teaching children about respecting differences.”

Catch them young before they might be able to reason through the problem. Bet a lot of cases like this are oversheltered by the mother and have a distant or absent father... so they get an unnatural aversion to their own gender.
It takes a village to make things even worse than they are!
I guess the only way to eliminate this crap is to run conservatives for school boards and start flushing the local systems from the top down.
It would be better a millstone hung around their necks and cast into the sea than to offend one of these little ones

Sounds like an issue of context here, all three referring to the same thing.
Helping committedly wicked souls be wicked isn’t considered as evil as corrupting a soul that is (has begun) striving for purity.
The evil is difficult to deal with. Impossible, no. Perhaps future generations of Christians will get wise to the spiritual issues involved. The grace of God is the only thing that can fight the evil of Satan.
Totally predatory.
Opening the door to the devil like that can only help the devil prey on ignorant (”innocent” in that sense) children.
I could wish that troubled adults would not look to children for their amen corner. It is so destructive.
Cowards use children to further their desires, and are often protected by the bureaucratic state.

School's out in a month or two and some gay activists have begun a tactic that will fester over the summer to cause big headaches in the fall
