Cruz is the candidate, regardless of what the GOPe thinks
I can get on board with that. :)
I pray that we as conservatives get our act together this time and don’t have the infighting which has divided us and lead to a RINO candidate for at least two elections. I must say, having Cruz in the mix is making it easy, and having what we have as his opponents helps too. There’s more clarity as to just who is the one and only true-blue candidate this time.
I had given Walker some thought, but the latest thing I read about him, at a private GOP dinner a couple of weeks ago, going back to his original wishy-washy stance on illegal immigration, has put me off. It sounds like he’s saying one thing to us, and another to the “in-group”.
Several Republican candidates were also thought to be aggressively pursuing the Kochs’ support. Sens. Ted Cruz (R-Kentucky), Marco Rubio (R-Florida), and Rand Paul (R-Kentucky) all joined Walker at a Koch donor confab in January.
