Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan will host a fundraiser next month in Annapolis for New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, a fellow blue-state Republican and likely presidential contender, according to an invitation obtained by The Washington Post.
The move, a rare foray into the national political scene by the first-term governor, signals Hogans unsurprising and early support for Christies potential bid for the 2016 Republican nomination.
During Hogans 2014 race, Christie was an enthusiastic backer of Hogans candidacy and helped propel his underdog victory with a series of appearances and funding secured from the Republican Governors Association, which Christie chaired at the time.

I do not think Christie is a contender
not at all ....
Both Christie and Hogan have the virtue of being better than the alternatives in their respective states.
Outside of that context...what you said.
Payback for Christie appearance last fall.
“No!” to Christie. “Yes!” to Cruz.
“I do not think Christie is a contender”

He isn’t! Hogan just “owes” him for all the support he provided to Hogan in the governor’s race. Hogan is considerably more conservative than Christie. Hogan has to do the best he can given the ‘RAT legislature in Maryland.
The more rinos the better, otherwise we will have a bunch of conservatives splitting the vote versus Jeb with a ton of money and media support (until the general election, of course).
Christie needs to go away and eat another doughnut.
Don’t be fooled by this fat ass, Lou Costello look-a-like f’ing RINO. He’s anti Second Amendment and illegal alien friendly.
And, IIRC, he’s real friendly with muzzies too.
Maryland “Freak State” PING!
Quite correct.
Hogan was better than Anthony Brown (by comparison).
But Hogan is no conservative.
I hate this freakin’ state!
No, he is not. And I would love to see my new governor get behind a conservative, but Hogan is, I am sorry to see, a RINO.
I did not know this but Larry Hogan is apparently longtime friends with Ron Gunzburger, the liberal homosexual who runs the useful www.politics1.com. Back before he was a committed democrat, Gunzb was his campaign manager during his 1992 congressional race. Gunzb is a tweeting up a storm in support of Governor Hogan.

Who RG likes on the GOP tends to set off warning bells with me. He was very complimentary towards the Orange Menace back in 2006, and we know what happened with him.
As an aside for his website, I’d suggest he include a map to go with each CD when he lists the candidates (perhaps even with an encapsulated history/demographics data). Looking at CA’s candidates with its ludicrous number of members (53), it’s hard for even us hard-core types to remember precisely which seat is where exactly (other than knowing the higher the number, the further south in the state it is).
