Only if their parent’s put them on their plan ... and assuming their parents have insurance

They still can be but there is no requirement that businesses provide family coverage. Many have dropped the family plan, leaving the dependent to find other options.

Covering kids on the parents’ plan can be very expensive. It changes the plan from a couples plan to a family plan, at least in NY state. NOT a benefit or a cost saver.
