The new law makes a hell of a lot more sense. Why should someone have their assets taken if they are not found guilty?

I don’t think govt should be in the business of seizing people’s property. The property should go to the family. This law is something, but not quite enough.
The biggest wrong is that the LE keep your seixed assets until after you are found innocent. !!! You need these assets after initial seizure TO HIRE A LAWYER. What good is getting it back after you have lost due to the inability to hire a lawyer !!!
