A high school economics teacher is facing disciplinary action after allegedly distributing anti-Muslim handouts to his students.

In late March – although just coming to light now – an unnamed teacher at Foster High School in Richmond, Tex., sent students home with an eight-page handout entitled “Islam/Radical Islam (Did You Know).” The handout, which was not approved by the Lamar Consolidated Independent School District, made claims like “38% of Muslims believe people that leave the faith should be executed” and “There are an estimated 190-300 million ‘radical Islam’ followers.” It also made reference to terrorism, beheadings and “if taken hostage by radical Islamists, what to do...”

Political correctness is a disease, as deadly as any ever recorded in this nation.

Political correctness is a psychological malady that occurs within a group of people, in which the desire for harmony or conformity in the group results in cognitive dissonance and an irrational or dysfunctional decision-making outcome.

Like other diseases such as alcoholism or drug addiction political correctness is often accompanied by denial and strong emotional outbursts when the cognitive dissonance is exposed.

Consider the danger that political correctness exposes the people of our nation to each day: A police officer neglects to stop a suspicious car for fear of profiling later a person is killed in a drive by shooting. An illegal alien is not questioned and escapes the law with narcotics that find there way in the veins of America's youth. A Muslim flies back and forth between America and Chechnya to train for terror, but cannot be questioned because of profiling. A shady terrorist slips through our grasp because he wasn't captured by the politically correct rules of engagement, resulting in the death of another young soldier.

Political correctness was devised by Marxists as a means controlling narratives of their host countries; their stated objective all along has been, "from each according to his ability, to each according to his need."

Look at what devastation PC has brought to the gay and lesbian population whose lifespan is typically 25 years shorter than a strait person. Std's are out of control and gays are told to hate the disease, yet celebrate the behavior that contracts it. It is not PC to classify Homosexuality as a lifestyle. It is also not PC to question why the majority of homosexuals are products of abusive childhoods or molestation. Additionally, it's not PC to mention the high rate of lesbian violence, substance abuse, and suicide.

People who disagree with homosexuality are haters, when in fact it is the act of homosexuality that is disagreed with, not the person. Christianity, in America is falling victim to political correctness where men like Robert Schuller (deceased) and Rob Bell say that men are not sinners and that there is no such place as hell.

The fact is that Jesus spoke more about hell than he did of heaven. Clearly the bible states that certain behaviors, like homosexuality are sin, yet the church is kowtowing to gay activist, becoming willing accomplices and sending their parishioners straight to hell. The whole idea and premise of Christianity is accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for only through Christ is heaven attainable, yet our President, who claims to be Christian says, people who don't subscribe to this belief will surely get to heaven, because they are nice people.

As political correctness tares through society it indoctrinates all and consumes the individual, replacing the rugged American spirit with multiculturalism and mediocrity. Schools are teaching our children that winning alienates the loser, they are dumbing down pupils to the lowest common denominator to keep the less intelligent ones self worth intact. The political correctness disease will unravel the fabric of greatness that this country has relied on for centuries, unless the individual is willing to take a stand.

Isaiah 29:19 The meek also shall increase their joy in the LORD, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel. 20 For the terrible one is brought to nought , and the scorner is consumed , and all that watch for iniquity are cut off : 21 That make a man an offender for a word, and lay a snare for him that reproveth in the gate, and turn aside the just for a thing of nought.

So it isn’t Anti-Islam, but facts on a group of people who follow the Koran, and a group of people that have faith in Muhammad and believe he was the only real prophet. Not sure what the issue is.

Sounds like the information is largely true, just inconvenient truths.

So, telling the TRUTH is equal to being ‘anti-muslim’?

Based upon the facts about Islam: its intolerance, its precepts regarding “infidels” in the Koran, its history and current practices, including the widespread murder of innocents, I am staunchly anti-Islam. Any honest, rational person would be the same.

Why did he think it was a good and wise idea to hand out that sheet to the students in an economics class at a public high school??

However true this may be, I can’t see why an economics teacher is distributing this.

Must be more to the story. Could be a set-up? Maybe he WANTED to be fired?

I probably agree with this teacher’s beliefs, but I don’t think he should present this stuff to students in an Economics class.

I do believe there needs to be a place where this is disbursed in our schools. Islam is not consistent with people becoming a part of the American tapestry.

Islam teaches that Western Culture is evil.

It’s just insane that we are bringing in people taught their whole lives to think of the U. S. and it’s citizens as evil.

Funny how the article doesn’t even try to dispute any of the FACTS listed in the handout??

Truth is important for students to learn. Macroeconomic numbers are important for predicting trends. If the numbers say that up to 200 Million Muslims are potential suicide bombers, our next generation must understand this! To not teach these numbers is national suicide.

Yes, and the teacher is Anti-Muslim for telling the truth. Truth is, he actually probably loves Muslims and prays for them.

Whatever.

If a public school teacher handed out a sheet full of negative statistics and statements about Christianity to his students, I am reasonably certain you would not support him.

My view, on the other hand, would be consistent. I am opposed to teachers in public schools handing out religious or political literature which does not directly relate to the subject or lesson being taught.

Islam isn’t a religion. It’s a plan for war.

Whatever back at you! You are certainly entitled to your opinion, however I believe that education is a gift from God. Biblical laws and truths are in every way as real and true as the physical laws of science.

The ten commandments used to be in the hallways of every school. We used to teach a Biblical Worldview (which is the only one that is rational). We could point to Islamic terror and call it for what it was, "Islamic Terror"! Amoral schools are required for political correctness to be effective.

Deuteronomy 11:18 Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes. 19 And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up . 20 And thou shalt write them upon the door posts of thine house, and upon thy gates: 21 That your days may be multiplied , and the days of your children, in the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth. 22 For if ye shall diligently keep all these commandments which I command you, to do them, to love the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, and to cleave unto him; 23 Then will the LORD drive out all these nations from before you, and ye shall possess greater nations and mightier than yourselves. 24 Every place whereon the soles of your feet shall tread shall be yours: from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the river Euphrates, even unto the uttermost sea shall your coast be. 25 There shall no man be able to stand before you: for the LORD your God shall lay the fear of you and the dread of you upon all the land that ye shall tread upon, as he hath said unto you. 26 Behold , I set before you this day a blessing and a curse; 27 A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day: 28 And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.

Maybe, like me, he saw his once and beloved American republic dissolving before his eyes and decided to confront the ideology of its enemies.

All it takes to be “anti-Muslim” today is to quote the Koran.
