It appears the military has just about achieved a “no error” standard.

It will ensure a generation of hapless, general officers thoroughly soaked in risk avoidance.

Not good IF the purpose of armies is to win battles.

FWIW, the Roman Republic didn’t punish losing generals.

From what I understand, that's true of the Air Force and the Navy, but certainly not in the Army, I can tell you that.
