I like it. I think I’ve seen this tactic used before on another issue, long, long ago: “The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or of men?”
I agree. The first time a republican says something similar during a Rep/Dem debate abortion stops being a hammer to nail republicans. Every republican asked about abortion should ask that the dem on the stage be asked what they mean by ‘choice’. When does life begin, do you support partial birth, should government fund all abortions under any circumstances, should gender selection be accepted? Make them answer, be specific. Once we demand that the issue will disappear.
