Cheney: President Obama Wants ‘To Take America Down’ [VIDEO]
Daily Caller ^ | 4-7-2015 | Al Weaver

Posted on 04/08/2015 10:13:02 AM PDT by sheikdetailfeather

In an appearance on “The Hugh Hewitt Show” Tuesday night, former Vice President Dick Cheney said that President Obama’s actions on the world stage exemplify a president who wants “to take America down.”

Cheney also touched on Obama’s comments on Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, telling Hewitt that Obama is the only post-World War II president to believe that America doesn’t need “to play a leading role in the world.”

The former vice president made the appearance following the announcement of a new book on American foreign policy, co-authored by himself and daughter Liz Cheney, will be released in September.

Cheney and Bush knew what Obama was all about in 2007. They knew he was an America hating, avowed enemy of the United States.

That the world works best with U.S. leadership. The first president, really, who doesn’t — no longer believe that fundamental truth is Barack Obama. What he’s saying, his criticism of Governor Walker — I think probably Governor Walker welcomes it. It’s almost like a paid commercial. I heard today as soon as the statement came out from Obama criticizing the governor, he immediately sent out to all of his supporters. I’m glad he did that. It’s a mark of weakness of this president that he’d say such a thing.

Walker has to be really enjoying Emperor Buffoon's mentioning him. The Veep is right. Walker has a built-in ad.

Thank you for referencing that article sheikdetailfeather. Please bear in mind that the following critique is directed at the article and not at you.

I wish that Cheney would also mention the following. If state lawmakers had never ratified the 17th Amendment, foolishly giving up their voices in Congress by doing so, then there would probably be enough conservative senators to have removed a House-impeached Obama from office by now.

After all, even after three election cycles, low-information voters have been slow to wise up to lawless Obama’s criminal arrogance and consequently still haven’t elected enough conservative Senators to remove Obama from office.

The 17th Amendment needs to disappear.

America has a much, much worse problem than just the lowlife, POS dirtbag 0bummer&Co.

There were/are 40-50-60 million people who put that subhuman ☭ommie-marxist-socialist-fascist into office, TWICE.

He should have been laughed off the national stage, within minutes of becoming a candidate for any office. Even in the ☭ommie hellhole of Chicago.

He wasn't. He was lauded, deified and elevated to POTUS, TWICE.

The America we knew, grew-up with and loved, is gone.

Socialists and their parasite gibsmedats, militant progressives, liberals, racists etc are running the show.

I'm not sure exactly when it happened, but it did.

The American Electorate is so corrupted that it'll take 1-2 generations for the slime and filth to ebb from it, and for Conservatism to return.

McCain told us Obama was an honorable man and we should not be concerned. Senile old fool.

The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the presidency. It will be easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to an electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails us. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president.”

Translated into English from an article appearing in the Czech Republic as published in the Prager Zeitung of 28 April 2010

Yes, he did, and on many occasions. It was sickening.

Could be.
I don’t think he wanted to win, either.

Capt. Obvious commercials come to mind. No disrespect intended, Mr. Vice-President.
