Happily, you can now listen to Green Christmas on line.

Beyond funny. We had the 45 RPM back in the day.

No, he predated Firesign by a good decade. Inspired them though.

Wow, he was a genius. He did a Christmas jingle thingie one day that lampooned Christmas and advertizing. I remember the lyrics till today . “We wish you a Merry Christmas, We Wish you a Merry Christmas, We wish you a Merry Christmas and please buy our beer!”
I think maybe 20 years ago he did a Campbells Soup commercial that was like a broadway stage production with giant cans of soups coming out of the stage and Rockette girls dancing and singing.
RIP and condolenses to his family

Influenced by Freberg, the Robert Hall clothing sales corporation did a radio commercial to the tune of Tannenbaum, which went ...

Oh, Robert Hall,
Oh, Robert Hall,
Oh, how we love your
parking lot ...
... ... sale.

Thanks, we are dating ourselves here. But I do remember him being on the Beany and Cecil show when they were hand puppets. He was one of the greats of the biz for sure.

I remember he had a line about the Good Humor mafia dipping their enemies in chocolate and rolling them in nuts.

You don’t want to know about the stick.
