I spent some time in Sarajevo last year. It’s an interesting place. Half Muslim, half Christian, with a smattering of Jews.

Very much influenced by the early 90s war, in which the Christian Serbs were the agressors, and had the city under siege.

You could still see the physical impact of the early 90s war everywhere, although the city is renewing.

The strangest thing to me was the idea that ethnic Serbians who committed war atrocities were living, unidentified and unpunished, in the Serb neighborhoods in the midst of the cities.
