Carla Botha, a junior transfer student at UM, grew up in the northern province of Limpopo, South Africa. She and her family later moved to the city of Johannesburg before she came to live in the United States in 2009.
She is 32 years old and as a child, she said, she witnessed the end of Apartheid. She described her family as “white, middle-class South African citizens with all the middle class privileges” but mentioned that hers is not the average situation.
“We think everybody’s equal but everybody’s not equal,” Botha said. “We have running water at the house but the people in the townships, they don’t necessarily have running water and they don’t necessarily have electricity. There’s still a huge difference between even just middle class and poor. I’m not even talking about rich.”

Divide the country in half. Let the whites have the Western half; the blacks have the Eastern half.
I simply cannot believe the premise of this story. It as if the writer has not even set foot in South Africa. Whites are getting slaughtered and raped there in epidemic proportions. In their own homes. Carjackings. Good grief they developed a flame-thrower gasoline system to prevent carjackings there.

I think back to the rural Asian and European who would build a house from the forest, and tend to the land and livestock to eke out a decent life. All the whole never thinking themselves poor. Just not wealthy and capable of living an luxurious life.
And here we are today where millions will sit around starving and waiting for others to provide for them.

The turnover of white control of SA to black power was an unmitigated disaster and signaled the eventual end of SA as a civilized country. Just look at Zimbabwe. That is the future of SA, and whites living there should try to get out while they can.
That would be the best solution. I wonder if things haven't gone too far for that to happen.
Well that settles it. Since even Mandela Magnus couldn’t solve the problem of there being too many white people in South Africa, that means only one thing.

I like to give credit where credit is due...there is no actual evidence that Nelson, himself, actually did a necklacing...ordered many of them and was aware of quite a few, but Winnie...now Winnie was a pure adherent to the "do it yourself" mind set.
There were many dependable accounts that that bitch was personally involved with them and did a few on their own people...ostensibly for shits and grins.

You won't see that reported by Wiki or just about anywhere else, any more, since, you know who, that other Nobel Peace Prize winner, attended his funeral and further legitimized the mean old bastard.
Your resolution is spot on. Would that we could have something similar in the USA. The takers, Blue States, could have one half of the country and the makers, Red States, could have the other half. Then after a few short years we could do an assessment of which half is doing better.
